Dear Heart (GingerZ & I)
Women are wondrous
in their unassuming ways.
In the rough hands that chopped and peeled, in the hums and sighs released when no one was watching.
In meals stretched impossibly thin yet still shared with generosity.
They may never have stood in the spotlight, but they held families, dreams, entire worlds together.
Quiet warriors.
In the rough hands that chopped and peeled, in the hums and sighs released when no one was watching.
In meals stretched impossibly thin yet still shared with generosity.
They may never have stood in the spotlight, but they held families, dreams, entire worlds together.
Quiet warriors.
Her...
The one who let the storm rage while she stood rooted.
When she moves, the tide turns.
You might not always notice her arriving, but you’ll feel her presence after she’s gone.
Her...
The one who includes, maybe because she doesn’t want to feel alone...
Misunderstood? Often. Her inner world too vast for shallow eyes.
Her...
The one who keeps being positive, looking at the days ahead with wonder.
For every time someone tried to tilt her crown, she lifted her head higher.
Not because it didn’t hurt... oh, it did. The slights, the doubts, the whispers in the dark.
But she stood tall, not for applause, not for recognition, but for herself.
SHE
The one who never stops even when the red flags wave furiously ... she has hope in change not only in herself but others
SHE
The one who includes maybe because just maybe she doesn't want to feel alone ... she knows how it feels in the silences deep.
SHE
The one who keeps being positive and looking at days ahead with wonder and excitement.
SHE
The one who can't believe she has come this far looking back. The roads passed had the twists n turns that always had bumps...she stumbled lost her balance and steadied herself .
SHE
In the quiet moments she reflects while the world seems to be rushing on.
SHE
The one who gives and gives and expects nothing in return but gratitude, respect and a little acknowledgement .
SHE
She who knows she is too much but has accepted the room.
SHE
In knowing herself she continues, silently, with a smile, with always wanting to help in the hope of those blessings filter through...
When souls collides, or leave, or enter ... they leave a solid imprint... it's an everlasting spiral that twirls flutters and vibrates ...
Let that be ur guide ... always
GingerZ
We all know women like these.
Their names may not be etched into history books, but their legacy is etched into us, in our bones, in our laughter, in our endurance.
They are remembered not for noisy achievements, but for wars won in silence.
For resilience.
For the unshaken support that carries us all forward.
A Note to the Reader
The voices of women often echo through time, carrying wisdom and grace.
While the speakers in this piece share resonant thoughts, consider how you
might pay tribute to the special women in your life, honoring their strength,
their resilience, and their quiet power.

Delete“History is written by the victors” … and in this world of predominantly patriarchal societies, hardly any woman gets as much recognition as men do. It’s only relatively recently women’s contributions have been recognized. Regardless, many women have been resilient & winning silent battles for centuries. Having each other’s support (rather than tearing each down) makes us stronger as a whole. Your post highlights both your appreciation and support for women out there. Let us keep on breathing steadily in the ways that have been instilled in us.
ReplyDeleteYes, we breathe through all of it xoxo
DeleteBeautifully penned. Masha Allah
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by xx

DeleteShe/her ........
ReplyDeleteMmmmmmm.
The real she's and hers in most of our livesbare the women who fill our lives with love and whom we turn to for wisdom and are sources of our strength. We see them as endless mounds of energy and love.
Our stories (most of), anecdotes , humorous moments and heart- touching moments involve a woman and are part of our most revered memories and convey the depth of our appreciation.
SHE was a best friend, my best friend, my forever friend.
HER love was encompassing, the purest love you will ever know.
SHE was/is the heartbeat in our lives , in our homes , in our friendships.
Without HER, there seems to be no beat in our hearts.
SOME women are like glue. Even when you can’t see them, they’re still hold everything together.
She - beautiful, soft, loving , compassionate and tough.
Her lips always wearing the biggest smile.
Her heart - unmatched.
She is the biggest influence in all children's lives.
Hers is the final word😊
Wow!
DeleteI still am ur best friend.... and i am forever grateful .... I think that's why I never attached myself to anyone ....I always knew I didn't have to look further...
ReplyDeleteI'm rather late in reading your piece and can just agree with you....her or she....both phenomenal. The nucleus in the family unit, community and nation.
